We will not be offering our France program for the summer of 2009. We will offer the program again in 2010.

There are two different opportunities for teaching and study in Paris. One will be an advanced Fashion Photography workshop hosted by ARTIS that will be offered to a limited number of photo instructors and their students. The 2nd option is to participate in the regular 3 week program and follow the scheduled itinerary described on the next page. On the regular program course offerings can consist of art history, art appreciation, drawing, watercolor, color photography or any other "on-location" art class. The fashion photography workshop will have it's own schedule of events which will be forwarded to interested instructors. Below is a gist of the workshop:

The class will study fashion photography in Paris, France, one of the world capitals of the fashion industry. The students taking the workshop will have the opportunity to photograph models from Paris model agencies and fashion from Parisian design schools. This will allow assembly of a professional portfolio by the end of the course.
