Because of the high quality of the ARTIS study tours, many universities and colleges will participate in the ARTIS Program by bringing their professors and students. College credit is being offered for the classes being taught during the study program by the various colleges. It is not necessary to attend the ARTIS programs for college credit or as a student. However, if you would like to participate in an ARTIS study abroad program and take a college class for credit, check out these options.

Various colleges will be attending the ARTIS summer programs. 3-6 credit hours for both undergraduate and graduate students is available and can probably be transferred to your school. Call for updated list of classes and colleges. There will be an additional tuition fee charged by the college for it to issue you credit.

The ARTIS summer study abroad programs in Florence offer (in addition to college courses) optional classes in Jewelry making, Batik, Textile design and Photo-silkscreen Printmaking.
